TECHNICAL
ASPECTS
Pressure
LPG tanks in automotive use are built and tested respecting the requirements
of national and foreign normatives.
During the
building welding's procedures are adopted by highly qualified staff.
The production
procedures are comply with those set out in the quality system certified
UNI EN ISO 9002
A
container can be:
a standard
cylindrical tank
a special tank
Standard
cylindrical tanks
They are realized in three parts.
The first operation is the calendering and the holing of the shell (to
contain the metal-ring). The plating is obtained through the calender
and it is welded on the cooled support long its generant.
Two brimmed bottoms are included in the plating.
For longitudinal and circumferential welds the automatic system of submerged
arc welding is used.
The welding of metal-ring on the shell and the welding of data plate
with trade mark and all identification dates of the tank, are made by
automatic system with protection of gas.
Standard cylindrical tanks are available in different measures and capacities
: from 24 to 100 litres.
Dimensions diameter and length: refer
to tables enclosed.
Special
tanks
They are realized in more parts.
In particular the special tank is composed of two pressed ends cold
printed.
The metal - ring is welded sidewise on one of two ends drilled appropriately
by mig procedure.
The central part of special tank consists of a drilled tube with the
fixed breakage
Two plates are welded to the drilled tube by automatic system with protection
of gas.
For the plate-end and circumferential welding of two ends the automatic
system of submerged arc welding is used
All identification dates of the tank are pressed on one of two plates
or on both plates by request.
The special tanks are available in different measures and capacities
: from 40 to 71 litres
Dimensions diameter and height: refer to tables
enclosed.
